WATER RESOURCES STAFF ENGINEER/HYDROLOGIST (2 TO 5 YEARS)
Job Description
This position will provide technical services for water rights and/or integrated water resources planning projects. Professional experience and familiarity with Colorado water resources projects are preferred but not required. In addition to the compensation package described above, the anticipated salary range for this position for a full-time employee is $75,000 to $95,000, annually, and is dependent on education and experience. Minimum Qualifications
- B.S. degree from an accredited college or university in water resources or civil engineering, hydrology, watershed science, or a closely related field.
- Intention and capability to obtain registration as an engineer or hydrologist once the experience-related qualifications are met.
- Pride in professionalism and producing excellent work.
- Able to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Organized, detail-oriented,and strong data analysis skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, with strong spreadsheet and database skills.
- Experience with ArcMap or ArcGIS Pro (preferred).
- Strong skills in critical thinking, and problem-solving.
- Effective at technical writing and verbal communication.
- Good time management skills and judgment to identify solutions within boundaries set by project schedules and budgets.
- A positive attitude and desire to learn.
